Steve Bug in conversation with Junk Dept: “For me Daniel Dexter is someone to look out for. I remember when I asked him if he wanted to send a demo…I’ve never been so excited about a demo because I really, really loved his release on Semester Music. Saying that, I was also a bit worried that the finished product wouldn’t be something that kicks me in the same way. However, I put on the first tune and there it was. Every single track on that demo was amazing; it was exactly my kinda thing. Now after two EPs we are looking forward to a ‘Focus On Daniel Dexter’ on Poker Flat. It will contain a collection of his earlier works as well as some new tunes. You should definitely keep your eyes open for that in early spring.”
